Reports say the body recovered from the Elm Fork of the Trinity River is that of Hwanyeo Park of Coppell, TX. Coppell police had been searching for the man, reported missing since May 3rd. An Illinois court recently found a Romeoville man not guilty by reason of insanity in the drowning death of his 18-month-old son, reports say. Chidi Esi, 29-year-old, was convicted recently of drowning his son in a bathtub, but the court determined that Esi’s mental state prevented him from being conscious of his own actions. An Ohio woman drowned last month when information she was given from the 911 operator after floodwaters swept her Volkswagen Beetle into an Ohio creek kept her in the car instead of trying to save herself by getting out of the submerged vehicle.
