Houston police are continuing their investigation of a fatal traffic accident that occurred in the 8200 block of Westheimer about 2:05 p.m. on Thursday, April 28th. The victim was reportedly attempting to cross Westheimer without using a marked crosswalk. He was struck by a tan Toyota Camry traveling eastbound. A resident of an apartment complex off Bissonett, in southwest Houston was returning home after visiting a nearby relative when he was confronted in the parking lot complex by an unknown suspect.
