Reports say Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 3900 Elysian Street on a Saturday afternoon late last month. A suspect has been arrested and charged in a fatal traffic accident in the 3100 block of Houston’s Southwest Freeway that occurred late last month. The incident occurred while the suspect was driving a blue Mercedes on the Southwest Freeway service road when she got into a verbal altercation with the victim, a pedestrian. Witnesses say a green Ford Explorer with two males inside was driving southbound on State Highway 288 when, for unknown reasons, the Explorer drove off the road just before the MacGregor overpass. The Explorer went through a guardrail over Braes Bayou and landed on a concrete embankment on the opposite side of the bayou. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side. Reports say a six-year-old died in southeast Houston Saturday, and then on Sunday a three-year-old boy drowned in Oak Ridge North in Montgomery County. Also on the same weekend, a 13-year-old was pulled from a southwest Houston pool and was fighting for her life in the hospital. The six-year-old was at his grandmother’s home when he was found unresponsive in the water, reports say. He was taken to the hospital, but died shortly afterward. Houston police are investigating a traffic accident at 1900 Kirby Drive that occurred late in the evening at the end of September. A male victim, 35, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released, pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
