A fatal traffic accident at 3100 at North U.S. Highway 59, also known as the Eastex Freeway, early last month is still under investigation by Houston Police, reports say. An unknown victim was driving a black Suzuki Grand Vitara southbound on the Eastex Freeway service road when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle struck the curb on the entrance ramp to the freeway and then a freeway support pillar, which killed him on impact. Reports say Houston police are continuing to investigate a fatal traffic accident that occurred in the 9200 block of Richmond Avenue about 6:30 a.m. early last month. Reports say a green Mitsubishi Montero was traveling eastbound on Richmond at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and struck a tree in the median. Reports say Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 3900 Elysian Street on a Saturday afternoon late last month. Reports say Luis Armando Maldonado Arita, 32, of Houston, was driving a silver Honda Accord northbound in the 3900 block of Elysian at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The Honda struck a light pole, essentially splitting the car in half. Arita was pronounced dead at the scene.  During the investigation, the families…

A suspect has been arrested and charged in a fatal traffic accident in the 3100 block of Houston’s Southwest Freeway that occurred late last month. The incident occurred while the suspect was driving a blue Mercedes on the Southwest Freeway service road when she got into a verbal altercation with the victim, a pedestrian.
