A Marengo, Ohio man was sentenced to four years in prison for aggravated vehicular homicide in Knox County Common Pleas Court last month. Lester A. Moore, 37, was convicted of aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the death of Connie Fyffe. Moore was sentenced to a four-year prison term, and his driver’s license was suspended for 10 years. He was also ordered to pay $18,306 in restitution to the crime victim’s family. Reports…

A 61-year-old worker at the joint military base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst was killed last month in a  motorcycle accident involving the motorcycle he was driving and an SUV, according to base authorities. The incident, which is still under investigation, occurred on Range Road at about 7:20 a.m. and resulted in no other reported injuries. 93-year-old Abraham Bosman died last month in an auto accident at Pleasant Drive and U.S. 1 in South Florida. The driver of the car in which Bosman rode was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Pleasant Drive in his 2000 Isuzu last month at about 5:30 p.m. The driver, James Corbett, 63, of West Palm Beach, was then struck by another car.
