A woman crossing corner of 40th and Spruce streets in Philadelphia was hit and injured recently by a trolley, reports say. The woman, who was unidentified other than what witnesses report as a black woman in her 60s at the 40th Street intersection shortly after 6 p.m. late last month, was evidently trying to catch the trolley when she slipped and the vehicle hit her.
