The operator of a white Dodge Durango was driving at a high rate of speed northbound on Homestead when she crashed and died. The female victim, 42, of Houston, whose name was not released, crossed an overpass, lost control of the vehicle and hit a curb on the east side of the road. A Houston man fell from a roller coaster to his death last week the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo outside of the Reliant Center at around 9 p.m.. Reports say the victim, Brian Greenhouse, fell about 30 feet from the roller coaster called HiMiler, landing on another man who was walking near the ride. A missing Beaumont man who had a history of seizures was found dead early last month on Galveston Island’s west end after disappearing in the water on a Friday night.   The man, David Kennedy, 40, was reported missing from Terramar Beach just after 8 p.m., while swimming with family, reports say. Richard Steinecke II, 21, of New Caney, who was injured last Friday morning by steel beams which had collapsed in a high school auditorium under construction has died, reports say. The worker was evidently killed as a result of both the fall from about 50 feet and from being crushed by the steel beams that fell on him.   Emergency crews had been called to the scene of the high school where new construction had begun on an auditorium. A high school auditorium that was under construction collapsed last week, injuring three workers in the south-Texas city of Santa Fe.   Emergency crews were called to the Santa Fe High School in the 16000 block of state Highway 6 Friday morning when it was reported that the structure had collapsed.
