Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers arrested a Stover, MO couple in Camden County in after reports say they filed a false report of a drowning incident on the Missouri River at Franklin Island in Howard County. The couple, Robert T. Gabauer, 44, and Michelle L. An Ohio woman drowned last month when information she was given from the 911 operator after floodwaters swept her Volkswagen Beetle into an Ohio creek kept her in the car instead of trying to save herself by getting out of the submerged vehicle. Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 10500 Knoboak Drive in Houston when a lone driver lost control and crashed into a drainage culvert on April 18th. The victim, 28, of Houston, was driving a Maroon Ford Taurus westbound on Knoboak Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the culvert.
