A seven-year-old boy was injured when he ran out from between two cars into a moving trolley in Southwest Philadelphia last month, say reports. The unidentified youngster was transported to Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania with head, shoulder and leg injuries, and his condition was not immediately known. The accident occurred in the morning before school, about 7:50 a.m. on Chester Avenue at 54th Street in Kingsessing. Janice Bauer, a Spokane County Jail guard, was injured when an elevator suddenly dropped and then came to a violent and abrupt stop. Reports say Bauer was thrown to the floor last month as she took the elevator from the jail annex to the first floor in the Tacoma prison facility.
