Witnesses say a green Ford Explorer with two males inside was driving southbound on State Highway 288 when, for unknown reasons, the Explorer drove off the road just before the MacGregor overpass. The driver of a white Infinity G35 that was travelling northbound on Lillia Road at a high rate of speed failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Aldine Bender and lost control late last month, striking several trees. A driver of a Lexus struck and killed and unidentified 57-year-old man who was crossing the street at North Beale Road west of Yuba Community College in Sacramento, reports say.
