Reports say Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 3900 Elysian Street on a Saturday afternoon late last month. Reports say Luis Armando Maldonado Arita, 32, of Houston, was driving a silver Honda Accord northbound in the 3900 block of Elysian at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The Honda struck a light pole, essentially splitting the car in half. Arita was pronounced dead at the scene.  During the investigation, the families…

A suspect wounded by a Houston police officer at 4000 U.S. Highway 59 at around midnight last in October was taken into custody and charged. The suspect, reported as Ricardo Salazar-Limon, 25, was reportedly charged with resisting arrest and DWI in Harris County Criminal Court.   Officer C.C. A woman was found dead in Antigua after she strayed from a barbecue near Pigeon Point Beach while on a Royal Clipper cruise, reports say. The woman, an unidentified 30-year old from New Mexico, was stabbed to death. She was found several hours after disappearing on a secluded trail at Windward Bay, Antigua, reports say. A 28-year-old Male was stabbed just outside a Houston nightclub, then chased into the parking lot, where the assailant stabbed him again numerous times. The incident, which reportedly occurred outside Blur Nightclub in the Montrose neighborhood, was evidently not a robbery or a hate crime. Police reportedly believe it might be a crime of passion.
