A suspect has been arrested and charged in a fatal traffic accident in the 3100 block of Houston’s Southwest Freeway that occurred late last month. The incident occurred while the suspect was driving a blue Mercedes on the Southwest Freeway service road when she got into a verbal altercation with the victim, a pedestrian. The driver of a white Infinity G35 that was travelling northbound on Lillia Road at a high rate of speed failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Aldine Bender and lost control late last month, striking several trees. Witnesses say a green Ford Explorer with two males inside was driving southbound on State Highway 288 when, for unknown reasons, the Explorer drove off the road just before the MacGregor overpass.
