Two motorists were killed mind-March as they tried to avoid an accident and stuck a bridge abutment on Houston’s East Loop South. The accident occurred when tan Chrysler Sebring and a brown Chevrolet Astro van were traveling north on the 610 East Loop on the Ship Channel Bridge. An accident that occurred mid-March have stymied Houston police, who are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a motorist involved the fatal hit-and-run traffic accident at 6900 Gulf Freeway, also known as South Interstate Highway 45, about 12:25 a.m. on March 14th. Austin suffered its 12th traffic fatality in March when Betty Louise Scott, 35, was killed in a collision at North IH 35 and East US Hwy 290 at the end of March. The preliminary investigation shows that a blue Oldsmobile was traveling eastbound on US Hwy 290 and a silver Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on IH 35.
