CDC Monitors German E. Coli Outbreak

The Centers for Disease Control is monitoring the large outbreak of E. Coli that has hit European communities this spring. The E. CDC Investigates Turkey Burger-Based Salmonella Outbreak

The Center for Disease Control reported a collaboration with public health officials in several states, as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, to investigate a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Hadar infections. The name of the five-year-old Houston boy who drowned at the Texas City Dike Beach was released by officials Friday, reports say. The child, Fredy Lazo, drowned after slipping off a float at the Texas City Dike beach Wednesday.
