A three-year-old boy lost a finger recently following an accident on a Macy’s escalator, reports say. Even though doctors tried desperately to save the finger, it was eventually amputated. The body of Hallie Jenkins, a 4-year-old girl missing since her father’s car plunged into a north Houston drainage ditch that killed four other children, has been found, according to reports. The body was discovered along Greens Bayou near Beltway 8, and officials believe it to be the one missing soul from the accident, since the other children’s bodies had already been recovered.   A young surfer was killed last month after a shark attack off Surf Beach, approximately  120 miles northwest of Los Angeles, reports say.   Lucas Ransom McKain, 19, a chemistry student at the University of California at Santa Barbara, was approximately a hundred yards from shore when the shark attacked him, biting through the surfboard and severing his left leg. Reports say a six-year-old died in southeast Houston Saturday, and then on Sunday a three-year-old boy drowned in Oak Ridge North in Montgomery County. Also on the same weekend, a 13-year-old was pulled from a southwest Houston pool and was fighting for her life in the hospital.
