Eventually freed from the equipment by paramedics and taken to hospital, damage to Lewenden’s arm was so severe that doctors had to amputate his limb at the elbow. An 18-year-old Lake Forest, Illinois man was killed and a teenage female companion was injured when they were struck by an Amtrak train in suburban Chicago, say reports. The pair were allegedly trespassing on railroad tracks just north of the Lake Forest, Ill., railroad stop when the train accident happened, reports say.
